Tote-ally!

Really love this doily tote bag idea via Ashley Ann.  All you need to execute is a tote bag (3 bucks at Hobby Lobby) a doily, adhesive spary and fabric paint.  Fill with a few themed items to match your giftee's lifestyle (cooking utencils for the cook, gardening supplies for the gardener)  and you've got a custom, thoughtful gift that shows you took the time to care.  I'll tote to that!
